The School of Education hosted a Social on Friday, September 15. Nearly 30 students and eight faculty created crafts, played games, enjoyed snacks, participated in a cake walk, and received a free Education t-shirt.

Can we please stop calling our professional learning - training? Words matter. Teachers don’t need to be trained. None of us do. Training implies a behaviorist view. What we need are opportunities to think and engage in thoughtful and meaningful discourse and reflection.
