You can’t just assume Michigan will be fine. They’ve missed the tournament 40% of the time since Izzo showed up. They’ve been mostly bad-to-mid for 40 years.

To be clear, the report UM commissioned to investigate its athletic department would have little direct bearing on May, who has pleased UM at every turn, but it was said to be focused mainly on the Athletic Director. What the investigators found is unknown to all but a few.

@SteveOlson16 @stoolpresidente There is no financial downside for him, he gets a huge raise going to the Mavericks and if he fails in the pros, he will come back to any major program (Petino, Calipari etc) and make more than he had contractually at Michigan

There is no doubt Dusty leaving is a huge blow to the basketball program. It’s the price of success. I’m not mad at anybody. It just sucks for us.
