Launching an Art-Only NFT Collection When NFTs Are “Dead” Ten months ago, I set out on a personal challenge: to build a collection entirely on my own. I wanted to create something I could truly be proud of — a body of work that could introduce my art to more people. Almost every day, I spent around four hours creating traits. I wish I could’ve spent more, but I have real-life job commitments. From designing the base, selecting color palettes, and crafting traits that would work seamlessly together — across two genders — the process became incredibly addictive. I honestly didn’t know when to stop. In the end, I created around 250 traits, which is quite a lot for a 2,222 supply collection. Truthfully, this might not be the “best” time to launch an NFT project. The chances of minting out are probably slim. But personally, I love the timing. It feels right for a collection that isn’t driven by hype or speculation. We may or may not mint out — and that’s okay. What truly amazes me is seeing art lovers show up simply to support artists like myself. I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by kind souls — whether you’re here on my feed or in my DMs — constantly showing encouragement. Your support keeps me going. I won’t stop making art. If anything, I’m doubling down and creating even more. This isn’t some Oscar-winning speech — we’re far from minting out.
