Pitch number 8 was called strike three instead of ball four. On an elimination pitch! Horribly blown call literally sent a team home instead of letting the game be properly decided on the field with an epic showdown between Miller and Tatis. DR and all baseball fans were robbed.

Horrific blown call on a full count denied the baseball world Miller vs. Tatis with the game on the line. An absolute travesty.

@MUSinfonian Thanks. Had it on with no sound so couldn't hear what they were saying. Bummer that a game of such significance ended that way. The drama of Miller vs. Tatis with 1st and 3rd would have been intense.
