@smithkl42 @SQLServer From what I remember, SqlServerSpatial160.dll is a Windows only DLL. If you look at the package, the DLLs are only for win-x64 and win-x86 runtimes nuget.info/packages/Micro… You may also want to look at github.com/dotnet/SqlClie… for more info

@stevetalkscode @SQLServer Did you ever figure this out? I'm trying to get our solution to run on Ubuntu, and it's trying to load SqlServerSpatial160.dll, and failing. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if Microsoft did.

Hey @SQLServer team - The new Microsoft.SqlServer.Types 16 RC claims to be #dotnet standard 2.1, but there are still native x86/x64 runtime dependencies on SqlServerSpatial160.dll. Are there plans to rewrite that as well/document what won't work on Linux nuget.org/packages/Micro…
