Here's how the fire in Glasgow city centre started. Does this business look legitimate to you? No signage. No company logos or advertisements. Yookay vape shop has destroyed part of our cities history. This is spreading to Central station and the central station hotel.

@PetsatHome As a retail manager myself who is very passionate about customer service, your store in Milton Keynes today certainly did not deliver a great experience. Not by the guy serving me, it was when he called over a so called supervisor where rudeness was her top talent!

@DaveWallsworth @Apple Had same thing with Amazon but the phone was only worth £250 and they put glue sticks in the packaging instead. I did get the money back eventually but it's just all the hassle. Why can't they implement better security in their centres? Made me anxious ordering phone's online.

Update on my new iPhone 17 Pro Max non-delivery from @Apple (they sent an empty box which was not the trade in return box). They are saying their investigation is complete and they are NOT going to send a replacement or refund the £1399! In other words they are saying I was lying! So I now have no option but to put things into legal hands. Lawyers on the case. Let’s hope Apple see sense about this! Extremely disappointed.

Why is @Channel4 unavailable on @AppleTV? My account works perfectly on all devices except the Apple TV. Shows ads, then message says currently unavailable please try later!! All software up to date, have restarted, reset but still no good.

@PippyBing I do agree but what also needs investigating is card charges imposed by VISA, Mastercard & banks. Many consumers now only pay using cards due to huge success of contactless & Apple/Google Pay. But this comes at a cost to businesses who have to raise prices in order to cover this.

I hate how everything costing a fortune is so normalised now. What do you meeeean £150 for a concert ticket? What do you meeeean £100 for a train ticket? What do you meeeean £50 for a family to have a chippy tea? What do you meeean £7 for a single pint? Robbing bastards!!

Just bought a new PC laptop and it won’t let me use it unless I create a Microsoft account, which also means giving their AI access to my computer! This is messed up. There used to be an option to skip signing into or creating a Microsoft account. Are you seeing this too?

@Phonemast I've been forced to switch networks because of this. 4G signal in my house is much weaker than 3G. Samsung doesn't give option to prefer WiFi instead of cellular for WiFi calling. Terrible call quality now & also phone keeps preferring to swith to 2G, resulting in non HD quality.

Vodafone 3G has gone from London and what looks like the entire UK rip HSPDA UMTS 😥

@PedroClarke1 I can't believe it! Never thought switching to an MVNO which uses EE would result in going back to days of narrow band quality calls. Although this was normal quality in the 90s, it sounds so awful now! Turns out Spusu uses their own IMS. Thought it was a bit cheap!

@MartinSLewis More often than not, despite hearing that message, I still get through within under 10 minutes. So that proves it is always the same message, and it's not based on the amount of callers coming through.

I'll ignore the insult. This is not anti-call centre workers at all, the opposite, its at exec level bullshit. If a firm permanently says "we're experiencing unusually high call volumes" then they aren't unusual, that's a lie, they are usual call volumes. Public service firms need to 1. Ensure adequate call handling resources 2. Be honest - don't make excuses or - use systems which give people an anticipated wait time, and only say "unusually high call volumes" when it truly is. Even be straight and say "we'd prefer you used our website" or say "the best time to call is X or Y". Help consumers rather than just piss them off.

@960sutton Are masts allowed to be installed near prisons? Reason I ask is I live next to HMS Woodhill in Milton Keynes & mobile coverage here is terrible on all networks. There's so many new monopole installs going up around MK but absolutely none here & no plans either!

Ok Twitter do your thing. I have never seen a laptop with this screen size before. Pictures don’t do it justice but it looks absolutely huge like a 17” or even up to a 19” display. What laptop is this???
