Leadership is perseverance. And inspiring everyone to persevere with you!

Great leaders know their people, and they know their limitations. But, they include them anyway.

Have you ever had that leader that sees the downside of everything? Or that leader that needs everything done their way? Not Clark. It turns out that he is brilliant at both of these.

A common rule in communication is that it is always the sender's responsibility to make sure the receiver fully understands the message. When it’s unclear, make sure you make it clear. Follow Clark's example.

Sometimes when you try to bring a little joy, you experience those who are joy sappers! Clark is a genius at bringing the joy and not letting the joy sappers ruin the moment.

I have often asked leaders this question: “Are you more concerned with what you give or what you get?“ Clark is a giver, and he knows the law of sowing and reaping. When you give, you end up getting!

Have you ever seen those leaders that won’t step out and lead the way even when it comes to risks? Great leaders, like Clark, know how to lead the way and wouldn’t ask anybody to do anything that they’re not willing to do themselves.

As leaders, it is important to ask questions to lead people to right conclusions. Clark wrote the book on asking great questions and has a knack for asking the right question to make you think.

Great leaders are great servants! But remember, there are multiple ways to serve. Clark always finds the way.

When you’re leading people or working with people, you know that surprises come in all shapes and sizes! Clark has a fascinating way of accepting whatever comes his way. I don’t know about you, but I want to handle surprises as tactfully as Clark.

You know those coaches and mentors that show up in our lives to point out things that we should notice but don’t? Clark is lucky to have someone like that in his life!
