Breaking: Reporting with @stevekaplowitz, UTEP is finalizing a 3-year contract extension for men’s basketball coach Joe Golding, pending approval from the UT Board of Regents, per source. Rest In Peace - Jerome Deal Jerome was a 1979 NCAA 100 meter champion (10.18) and a member of seven NCAA championship teams. He holds the school record in the indoor 60 meters (6.55 in 1981). Sending our condolences to his family and friends. Jerome was 66.
