The tragic terrible news has come to me that Benjamin Zephaniah's family have announced that Benjamin has died. I'm devastated. I admired him, respected him, learnt from him, loved him. Love and condolences to the family and to all who loved him too.

So sad today that @jamesdoleman has passed away. I have known Frank since I was a teenager in the Milton in north Glasgow and he went to St Augustine’s and was a true activist for a better world , an absolute genius of a guy and a beautiful human being. Rest in peace big man .
