Dubai airport has been hit by a drone once again. A building nearby has been set on fire. Several planes approaching the airport have been diverted. These social media influencers claiming Dubai is safe have zero respect for human life. They've sold their souls. Villains of humanity.

@JamesMelville So not true! Banks charge to take cash deposits. Pretty similar fees to taking cards. Plus there's the added security risk when handling large amounts of cash. Unless your suppliers are accepting cash (which is unusual) then it's a pretty pointless argument.

A lovely cafe at my local rail station has this sign in the window. So many independent local independent businesses are saying this - “Cash is king. Cash is our preferred method of payment.” Support local independent businesses by paying with cash.

A tough few days saying goodbye to my dad, who passed away Sunday evening. At 91, he remained as upbeat and optimistic as ever right until the end. He will be hugely missed by me, our entire family, and all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing.
