Ive seen so many people talk about this “progressive overload” aspect. First of all; progressive overload is already quite a miss understood concept in the fitness scene itself. Progressive overload is the RESULT of doing enough quality work (in the gym enough hard sets. (Where you can recover from) This is for hypertrophy training. Hypertrophy training is not as much about skill development as strength training or powerlifting. So i think its actually a better comparison (if you wanna make on) Powerlifters often start off their training block with REALLY light (relative) weights and lots of sets (reps) to build a good foundation. From there they slowly increase the weight, and try to keep the same technique. tldr: easier scenarios are 100% worth it and should actually be played more than the harder variants for most players i believe. And just endlessly playing harder scenarios as “overload” is a flawed way to look at it. You overload with reps, just make sure the reps are quality (intent, focus, technique, tension management) even on a 85% accuracy pb scenario. Try pushing that to 87, 89, 90+ you’ll notice its quite CHALLENGING indeed.

Something I think is fairly important is playing easier scens to enforce your technique and develop it and sometimes faster, Then once you are feeling ready playing the advance/harder scens. Easy scens can be helpful and important too

i had quite a hard time transitioning to such a fast and hard pad! But once you adapt all aiming motions feel easier and more free. So a little bit of a higher skill ceiling maybe with faster and harder pads. have not had much time on the raiden mid (i assume you have mid?) just a little better in every aspect.

@stevin222 i wonder why its so good in static if its so fast, i play a raiden for everything including val and really want a pd170, u think i could still perform in val with it?

@TheDrMAWZ I switched to tirzepatide. Too soon to draw real conclusions, but my system was getting out of wack after multiple weeks on reta (first few weeks were bliss 😅)

Retatrutide is the most powerful fat-loss compound ever put in humans. It is also a sympathetic-state drug. Elevated resting heart rate, suppressed HRV, blunted morning erections in some users. The fat comes off. The autonomic cost is real and almost nobody is measuring it.

@LemonAimer Honestly I didn’t want to like it but it’s the only cloth pad I’ve been able to use sleeveless with 0 issues with the surface irritating my arm. Also the edgeless design is a chefs kiss. Plus it’s pretty speedy

i think i have figured out how to aim on the pd170.. needed less finger tip drag. i think its mostly because of the hardness of this pad compared to what im used to.

my control tracking was sucking ass last few days.. until whisphere clicked. i think its because whisphere is the best anti predicting control tracking scenario (out of the viscose scens) after i got a good score on whisphere, all the other control scenarios followed! less jittery aim, and more reading the target.

@stevin222 main skill you're probably lacking (since control pads are a crutch for it) are flick landings. i unironically recommend small target speed switching like staticswitchingvox xxsmall(iirc)/aimerz week 5 30% smaller or regen evasive like domiswitch

Your cortisol has a “cycle” it peaks in the morning (its why you wake up) and it slowly goes down as the day goes on. (At least it should be) I have noticed great benefits from ashwagandha! But i take it before bed. Isnt it better taking it in the evening? Knowing the ‘circadian cortisol rhythm’

My cortisol got nuked after I started taking magnesium glycinate at night, ashwagandha in the morning, and L-theanine (+ these 3 habits). It was wrecking my sleep, my belly fat, and my mood, but now it's fixed. Here's exactly what I did:

ok being able to see last challenge stats is low key good. there is a difference with a run that was at PB pace for 90% of the run that fell off the last 10 sec compared to a more steady run with the same score note sure what conclusion you can draw from different type of graphs. but knowing you were at pb pace 90% of the run really motivates for the next play!
stevin2@stevin222

why is my kovaaks showing last challenge tab by default now after a run, instead of history graph. i wanna see that nice history graph after my run!

why is it that when you're in to something niche (kovaaks) people around you irl never show any interest. i get that its a niche and most people dont really care about it at all, i get that. but often when i meet someone (irl) thats in to a niche hobby im interested in them and like to hear and understand what its about. im not shouting from the roof tops to everyone im playing kovaaks. but the close people around me obviously now its a passion of mine when they see 15 mice and a stack of mousepads 😂 showing a little bit of interest to other people lives or hobby's is a nice way to connect with people!! even if you know its something you're not that interested in!
