@rightsofrefusal @stfudvs @1GamewithDave1 Usenet still is the best for downloads. I cap out my 10gig line at home. Grab a year for ~20 bucks and 10-15 a year for a good indexer. Setup sonarr/radarr/prowlarr/sabnzbd, and seer and no more netflix.

@1GamewithDave1 I downloaded Windows 98 from a warez channel on AOL and it took literally 24 hours to download every part... I think there was over 40 compressed parts.

As it sits, no AI can reproduce the effects that a real VCR and analog mixing can get. There are filters, emulators, and overlays, but nothing touches the real thing. Computers don't do random. They can fake it, but no two glitches are ever identical. If you see enough of the filters and emulators, you will see the same patterns emerge, and your mind will process it as slop eventually. I keep it real.
