2026 MHSBCA Convention Chris Andrews coached Portage Northern High School baseball from 1998-2019. During this time he lead the Huskies to over 500 wins. The Huskies also won the MHSAA D1 State Championship. Coach Andrews was inducted into the MHSBCA Hall of Fame in 2019.

Today we will start to announce our speaker lineup for the 2026 Convention. Adam Vrable is an assistant baseball coach at the University of Louisville, currently serving his 12th season with the Cardinals as of the 2025 season. @louisvillebsb @avrabes

2026 MHSBCA Convention Matt Shoemaker is a Wyandotte native. He played college baseball at Eastern Michigan. After EMU he played in the MLB for the Los Angeles Angels, Toronto Blue Jays, and Minnesota Twins. We are looking forward to having Matt on stage at the 2026 Convention!
