This morning, Year 6 have been running their business enterprise. Lots of Christmas Themed games, music and sweets. Lots of fun has been had by everyone!

Today in school we are celebrating 50 years of our school being on the site in Sawyers Hall Lane. @BrentwoodRC

Today the chairs have quit! They’ve had enough mistreatment and will not take anymore! Children will be writing persuasive apology letters to ‘try’ and get their chairs onside by lunchtime. Let’s see how this goes!!

Our year 3-6 cross country teams had a fabulous day at the District Cross Country event. A great time was had by all. Here are some of the teams, more to follow.

As a school we have been collecting 100's of items for the @stgeorges_bwd food hub. Thank you for all your kind donations. We will be delivering the items later this week.

4B have had a wonderful morning of Forest school. Learning new skills and having great fun outdoors! "Forest School is the best, better than all the rest. It is fun you can’t run. We popped the hot popcorn." "We learnt facts and built a shelter for bugs and for ourselves."

Yesterday our Year 4, boys football teams had a fantastic afternoon playing at the @ssp_shenfield tournament. A great event! Thank you to @SHSPEDEPT1 also for their young people who oversaw the matches. All involved had a great time.

@TTRockStars this Friday we will be holding our second annual TTRS day. Children can dress as Rock stars if they wish, ready for a fun packed day of times tables. Look out for photos on Friday.

Today we have a sponsored fancy dress walk on our school field, to raise money for our House of Matthew chosen charity, @HavensHospices #littlehavens Pictures to follow!

Year 5 have have been looking at pointillism from the French artist George Seurat. They are now producing their own versions of ‘A Sunday Afternoon on the island of La Grande Jatte’.

@enrichedu a fantastic day of Quidditch today for Years 3, 4 and 5.

Our senior choir have arrived at the O2 for our @YVconcerts concert. All are very excited and looking forward to performic in such a magnificent venue.

The snow is very deep in Sawyers Hall Lane and the school car park cannot be cleared. Many roads are very dangerous to walk/drive on. Therefore, the school will remain closed today (Monday). Staff will set work for students to do on Show My Homework.

Due to the adverse weather conditions and for the safety of all pupils and staff, school will be closed today. Home learning activities will be set on SeeSaw, MyMaths and TTRS.

The stage is all set for a fabulous Music Showcase tomorrow! The first one for 3 years! Can't wait 🎻🎺🎷🎼🎶🎹🎻#musicforschools

This morning a group of year delivered a wonderful assembly to our Infant school children as part of their mission week. The children spoke beautifully about Letting their light shine. Very inspiring. #missionweek
