Huge, huge win for Salford and fully deserved. Now well on course for a play-off place which, considering where they were in pre-season, would be a truly extraordinary achievement.

It's been all Salford since half-time (in fact since Brodie Croft's try) and they're now in front for the first time with a Joe Mellor try.

Absolute cracker of a first half at Salford with a bit of everything. Leeds lead 16-12 after Lachlan Miller saves a try at the end but anything could still happen here.

Very much like the look of this Leeds attack. After being pegged back while a man down, Brodie Croft has started and finished a wonderful move on his old stomping ground and Rhinos lead 16-6.

Perfect start for Leeds, 12-0 up after an early yellow card to Tim Lafai with the extra man ruthlessly punished. Correct call for shoulder to head but only after Lachie Miller refuses to get up until it's looked at, which has been creeping back into the game.

St Helens' win earlier puts a little more on this game, with only one of Salford and Leeds (at best) likely to make the play-offs. Intriguing clash.

Must-win for Leigh and their play-off hopes, but don't think it'll be easy - especially without Moylan and Amone.

Best wishes to Josh, who is only 31. A frightening reminder of the risks that players take for our entertainment and their livelihood.

Great to see Wigan becoming a force, especially with some really exciting young players to the fore.

What an RFL shambles these Nines are. No promotion of the event at all with even basic info not put out. Watching the first match on the stream, the commentator knows none of the players and the score graphic is wrong for the entire game. The players deserve so, so much better.

Cards cost Castleford as Salford come from behind in each half for a first win in three. Important win for the Red Devils ahead of a huge clash here against Leeds in seven days.

Salford shade the first half, leading 12-6 and they could have scored a few more tries. Attack looking better again and Jayden Nikorima slotting in nicely on debut.

Change in fortunes recently for both Salford and Castleford - interesting to see if the form of both continues today. Big for Salford's play-off ambitions to win.

Good win for Leeds, continuing their improvement. Didn't always click in attack despite posting 34 points but did the basics very well, defending solidly. Two points off the play-offs which look a decent shout with this blueprint.
