A video from @danashelbygk...why we have to use winter greens. Top inch or so is frozen then the key goes in easily, if golfers walk on the greens when like this it will cause root damage & lead to poor playing surfaces. We don’t like winter greens but they’re needed sometimes⛳️

As an experiment to raise awareness of pitchmarks one staff member was sent out today to fix unrepaired and badly repaired pitchmarks. The results show we had a few! Also note the time taken to complete this task also. Can all golfers please remember to repair pitchmarks!
