Idk what furry artist needs to hear this, but I just sent enough money to buy a new car with to a maker to commission a custom panel for my new airplane, and they responded in 5 minutes with a firm timeframe and set of expectations for both me and them.

I would also like to mention that longer turn around times are ok if you’re HONEST about it! I like to give all my customers an ETA of 12 months just in case. I also allow my customers to contact me at any time so they feel like they can talk to me and ask questions! Do better!
