Found an example: Windy has the ball as he goes to kick, the eagles player blocks off the corridor making him shape his kick towards the boundary Results in a turnover Just an awkward kick to execute, where as Carroll can kick across his body, away from the boundary

I’ve seen us get trapped on that same flank on a couple of occasions, with pressure coming in from the corridor side it creates an awkward kick for a right footer and you don’t want it to get smothered and you’re kicking towards the boundary, while Carroll can go across his body

@alkaiuf_ @Jburdeu Yeah agreed, we used to run with two attacking half backs in Nas and Sincs, with Windy spending more time on ball we don’t really have a secondary rebounder, maybe Carroll and then Flanders & Windy occasionally. Collard is more dynamic than all, certainly has potential.

MSD, would we rather: 1. A young key fwd to develop (18-22) 2. A more mature key fwd prospect who could impact straight away (23-26), wait until national draft to bring in young fwd. 3. A Key DEF, & swing Caminiti or Tauru (or both) to be developed as forwards #SaintsFooty

Such a shame with King but if we're being so cautious we have to pivot with our MSD plans. Another tall forward in to develop, or maybe another tall defender and Caminiti & Tauru developed into forwards.

@stk__itk A lot of positives yesterday but he was the player I was most excited about. Pace and skill out of the backline. Real potential in that position and good coaching as I don’t think he was going to make it as a small forward.

I've spoken about how badly I want that powerful goal kicking mid & Ainsworth is that type of player, whether that translates from U18s we'll have to see His draft profile is really intriguing looking at his strengths, & he models his game on Dangerfield. One to watch for sure

Oskar Ainsworth is the other one, while I haven't seen a direct link yet, it's been mentioned he has interest & considering we almost gave him a list spot, you'd think we're one of the teams Debuting for our VFL team this week, I'll be watching closely

@stk__itk @saintstvpod Rubbish stats. Watching him at games is what matters. Like Garcia. I love the kid but he has iron hands and fumbles the ball relentlessly and bomb kicks it to nowhere all too often. Gets sucked into the ball when he should stay.

The reality is that he can barely hit a target and many of his possessions on the weekend were garbage stat fillers. WCE are a VFL side.
