On Wednesday, Alder class finished reading ‘The Last Bear’ with a tear in everyone’s eye! Today, they arrived to school to find a postcard from none other than the author of The Last Bear @HGold_author ! With squeals of excitement, it made their day! Thank you, Hannah!🎉📚🐻❄️🥰

As part of #ChildrensMentalHealth week, Year 4 spent yesterday morning watching @charliemackesy’s The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse. We were blown away by their thoughtful responses and found it very difficult to pick just a few! Well done Year 4! 🌈

Alder Class were absolutely over the moon this afternoon to receive a surprise early Christmas gift in the post! We received a card, poster and bookmarks for each child from @MelTBessent,the author of our current book: The Christmas Carrolls! What a super surprise! Thank you Mel!

Year 4 were lucky enough to be visited by @sbutlerbooks this morning, who wrote their class reader: ‘The Nothing to See Here Hotel’. The children had some fantastic questions about the writing process and were VERY excited to have Steven here at St Lawrence!📚
