This morning, my wife Yara looked at me with tired eyes and said,
“It feels like the world… and those who once cheered for us… have begun to forget. No one cares anymore.”
I gently replied,
“There are still many people out there who love us and care deeply… and I’ll prove it to you.”
So today, my wife Yara and I, along with our sons Imad and Adam, are writing to you from beneath the rubble of life — still breathing, still hoping.
Do we still matter to you?
Just a single comment from you will remind Yara that our lives still hold meaning… that hope isn’t lost 💔
Please, leave a comment that brings hope back to Yara’s heart.

@andredaughty @thnorfar @cfanch @Achievement4ALL @WmStubbs @eringannon @iDoSchool It’s called flexible thinking…and it equates to the same answer. Teaches the concept that there are multiple ways to solve a given problem.

@SaadiaFaruqi What!? Why!? What could possibly be worth banning in these books? (Not that any books should be banned…but this is just bizarre)

We had so much fun during our virtual author visit today! We spoke with Saadia Faruqi; who wrote the Yasmin series, Yusuf Azeem is Not a Hero, and many others. We learned a lot about Ramadan & Eid, and got to play Mad Libs! Thank you @SaadiaFaruqi !! @JWReasonElem

@SaadiaFaruqi My class would love this! I’m an EL Co teacher. We have students from 11 diff countries, 8 diff languages, and multiple religions including many Muslims. We’re planning to make the month of Ramadan an “Arab Heritage month” of sorts & this would add so much! If you’re available!

Staff members at Davis hung 900 posters around the building over break that were pictures of each student and why they mattered as part of the Why You Matter Campaign. The students got to see those posters today when they returned to school after break. #theDublinDifference
