St. Michael's Junior Choir and Chamber Choir performed in two concerts for Music in Action on Saturday. Both choirs performed exceptionally well and we could not be prouder of them all.

Year 5 looked at the effect of temperature and surface area on the rate of a sweet dissolving. They varied the temperature using Bunsen burners and used a pestle and mortar to increase the surface area of their sweets.

We are delighted to introduce our two Year 8 Jersey Youth Parliament Representatives. On Monday, they attended the States Assembly to debate three issues affecting young people in Jersey; housing, sport and medical care.
Three St. Michael's netball teams enjoyed great fixtures earlier this week against St. Clement School, Grouville School and Les Landes School. It is fantastic to see the girls developing their netball skills each week. Keep up the excellent work!
Great result for our Year 7 netball team; winning the Jersey Secondary Schools Tournament. The girls played against all of the island schools, winning all their matches and scoring 55 goals. Well done to all girls involved, a fantastic achievement.

On Thursday, @HautlieuSchool invited St. Michael's parents and pupils to a presentation and tour of the Hautlieu campus. Parents were able to hear how the two schools were working in partnership and how the St. Michael's Shell Year allows a seamless transition to Hautlieu.
The Nursery children were very excited to head to Jersey Zoo to meet the new sloths, Terry and Rio, who arrived a couple of weeks ago. What a great morning! Thank you for having us @JerseyZoo
What a wonderful afternoon of festive fun and fundraising at the Christmas Fair. A total highlight in the St. Michael's calendar and we are so grateful to everyone who helped, shopped and donated so very generously!

Our fabulous SMPA superstars have been very hard at work setting up our infamous St. Michael's Christmas Fair. We are ready and excited to welcome everyone to the Sports Hall for fun and festivities. Open until 16.00 today.
The Years 5 and 6 Inter-House Netball competition was a close call, with every House winning at least one game. The final results were 1st Luke House, 2nd Matthew House, 3rd John House, 4th Mark House.
All three St. Michael's netball teams were in action on Monday, making good use of our sports hall with the terrible weather outside! We welcomed Grouville A, Beaulieu A and FCJ and enjoyed some great netball with lots of goals. Well done to everyone.
