@stndardoperator These are some good questions! Stops the knee-jerk reaction quits.

@jasonjamleonard I usually feel it on days following what you described in your post - where things are thrown off
English

@calebtlaird if you're not having fun building, should you be building it?
English

@jasonjamleonard Feel you - time to get back to the routines

@wowpursuits @Dom_Investing Interesting question - I guess we can all do #2, but you only really learn from #1
English

Interesting question from @Dom_Investing.
I think not buying is worse as it may imply that one is trying to time the market. 🤔
I believe in investing with conviction or not investing at all. Thus, I don’t sweat when a stock goes down after I’ve bought it. It happens and it’s just paper loss. I might even take advantage of the lower price and add on to my position.

What's worse: + Buying, stock goes down OR + Not buying, stock goes up

@jasonjamleonard @morganhousel What makes entrepreneurship so darn hard. But there's more uncertainty out there than we realize - per this quote
English

@thedanielaros Great point - usually you come back and see it with so much more clarity
English

@stndardoperator I've heard that it's a good idea to pause on a negative thought until the next day.
Come back with the fresh mind.
English

@stndardoperator 100%.
I've used 2 many many times.
Procrastinate the quitting.
Kept me consistent and my streak unbroken.

@thedanielaros Find something fun - great framework. If it's fun for you it probably will be for someone else

One of the best parts of working for yourself:
Setting your own schedule.
Yes, business is a lot of work.
Yes, sometimes it's stress & heartache.
But want to go for a walk in the woods at 10am on a weekday?
The option is yours.
You may work more hours than a 9-5 in certain seasons of business.
But don't forget to take advantage of the perks.
One of my intentions this week was to walk/hike somewhere new.
☑ Done.
PS. Can you believe this place is less than 5 min from my house, and I hadn't gone before now?!
Crazy.
