A few weeks ago, I met with members of Manitoba’s NDP government, including their Finance Minister, to talk about what it looks like when a government puts working people first.
One thing they’re doing? Cracking down on predatory pricing.
In Manitoba, companies can’t use personal data and algorithms to quietly charge people different prices online or in stores.They can’t spy on consumers, exploit their data, and make life more expensive.
Here in Ontario they still can.
If Manitoba can protect consumers from predatory pricing, why won’t Doug Ford do the same for Ontarians

This is called surveillance pricing, and I'm bringing a vote to ban it in Ontario.
Manitoba's NDP government banned it. Doug Ford can too. He just has to choose people over corporations.

This government's latest education bill isn’t about students or improving outcomes in our schools.
It’s about centralizing more power in the Minister’s office, creating new executive positions, and opening the door for more insider appointments while classrooms lose teachers.
We’ve seen what happens when this government concentrates power: the Greenbelt scandal, Skills Development Fund giveaways, and the Ontario Place spa deal.
Ontario students don’t need more CEOs and bureaucrats. They need more teachers, better supports, and real investment in their classrooms.
