Urgent prayer request update from Ecuador on Shuiling, who has been in intensive care with acute pancreatitis and is experiencing further serious complications.
A family member asks for prayer:
"I ask you to pray for Shuiling; it appeared that one of the drains in her abdomen had perforated her intestine, and now the situation is quite complicated. She underwent surgery to suture her intestine, and the outcome was the worst we could have imagined.
The surgeon found that one of the drains had perforated the colon, piercing it from one side to the other, causing fecal matter to contaminate the surrounding area, which forced the surgeon to remove a significant portion of the colon—far too much. They have separated the small intestine from the large intestine and left a catheter in place; furthermore, the surgery resulted in a very large incision in the abdomen.
Please pray that the Lord will give strength to Shuiling and to us."

To confess one's sins (even repeatedly) each passing day, is not a denial of the grace of God, but an affirmation of the justice of God.
It is me declaring, that God sees me, he sees my sins, He does not ignore it, He deals with it in Christ.
Yes! My sins will never be the basis of his relationship with me, but my sins will not be ignored or treated lightly, and very importantly, my sins will diminish as I grow in grace, as I believe his Word, and trust in the power of His Holy Spirit.
The believer must acknowledge and confess his sins, he must hate his sins and he must love the God who calls his attention to it and offers him forgiveness in Christ.

You know what wrecked me when I was converting to Christianity?
Jihad is literally the gospel in reverse. Once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it.
The gospel says Christ shed His blood for YOU.
Jihad says you shed your blood for ALLAH.
Jesus lays down His life to save His enemies. Jihad calls you to take the lives of enemies in pursuit of God's favor.
Christianity says the Shepherd dies so the sheep can live. Jihad says the sheep die hoping the Shepherd accepts them.
They are mirrors. One is grace, the other is striving.
One says, "It is finished." The other says, "Do more."
Jesus never asked me to earn God's love with my blood, he proved God's love by shedding His own.
That's why the cross changed everything for me. Jesus didn't come to tell us how to die for God.
He came to die for us so we could truly live. PRAISE GOD! I AM FREE! Now, we need to make all the Muslims Christian.

Fun Facts about the Psalms:
1- Most quoted OT book in the NT
2-Ps. 110 is most quoted OT chapter in the NT (33x)
3- All but 22 of the 150 psalms are quoted or alluded to in the NT (thus 85% of psalms found their way into NT).
4- The Gospels comment on all the major events in Christ's life via psalms.

DEAR @officialEFCC
Last night, your officers barged into my accommodation and harassed me. It was an experience I never expected, and it left me asking serious questions about how citizens are treated.
I believe every Nigerian deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. If there are questions to ask or investigations to carry out, they should be done professionally and within the law, not through intimidation.
BUT ONE QUESTION KEEPS COMING TO MY MIND:
● What business does the EFCC have with religion?
The EFCC was created to fight economic and financial crimes, not to interfere with people's religious beliefs or personal opinions. Since when did expressing or discussing religious views become part of the EFCC's job?
Nigeria is a country where freedom of thought, conscience, and religion should be protected. No one should feel threatened because of their beliefs or the opinions they express. And if you think this is a false allegation, we can go to court.
We must continue to speak up for justice, accountability, and the rights of every citizen. Today it may be me; tomorrow it could be someone else.

So much noise online regarding the term "judeo-Christian." Guys -- in academia it's simply the term that describes the combined corpus of Old and New Testaments. The Jewish heritage of the Hebrew scriptures combined with the New Testament. That's it. I know you want there to be some conspiracy but there isnt, that's the way we're using it. It has nothing to do with geo-politics or a one world order.
