Over the past three weeks, I've read all 26 of @BarbaraNadel's 'Turkish Detective ' series. What a great series of books, I've loved the cast of characters but I think reading the character of Istanbul and it's social changes has been so informative.

@davepaters They've been ignored for too long and don't have a way of changing things...checks diary, hmm... there was an election last month.

@RestIsPolitics @RoryStewartUK @campbellclaret What impact will extending the franchise to 16 & 17 year olds have on the next election? And with turn-out so low, surely it is time for compulsory voting and perhaps move elections to Saturday??

Today I discovered that @natasha_pulley is one of M's university tutors...we were talking about a friend called Natasha, M pipes up that one of her tutors was called Natasha...I loved Watchmaker of Filigree Street...and don't know what she's done to deserve the insanity of M!!

@_AndyHemming @Zos93 If it turns on and off at the front panel...that is normally a good indication that the motherboard, CPU and memory are okay IME. If it doesn't turn off - normally a sign that it is something on the board.

@_AndyHemming @Zos93 Does it turn off at the power button?? If it doesn't - reseat memory and CPU .

@_AndyHemming @Zos93 Does it beep and or does it have a led on the board which tells you what is going on. The other thing - does it turn off using the power button? Or do you have to turn off at the power supply??

@_AndyHemming @Zos93 Reseat and clean everything - also check you've got the right input selected on the monitor.
