The mobs were definitely harder when you've created an ominous trial spawner. A shield is recommended from this point. If you enter with full enchantments you probably won't have a problem. Set your spawn point nearby just in case :). Cooked beef for food was good enough for me.

My first survival experience in a Trial Chamber (hard difficulty, unenchanted iron tools/armor, bow) 1. Trial Spawner mobs were easy to defeat 2. You collect a lot of junk along the way (barrels/pots) 3. Drinking a ominous potion to get the harder mobs/better loot wasn't obvious

As these are world generation issues a future update can't fix your world if you've already explored the structure, that is unless your willing to delete the chunks the structure was generated in.

Trial Chambers generation in Minecraft Tricky Trials 1.21 Java RC1 are a bit buggy with some "rooms" blocked off, partially connected, and dispensers blocked. The dev's are aware of this but a fix isn't planned until a future minor release. Keep in mind when updating to 1.21.

@PixelandPoly @WemelordBoksman I'll probably use them to display on armour stands. Visiting all the structures to have a chance of finding the smithing template will be a grind. A missed opportunity to introduce structure variations like a dynamic stronghold to keep this interesting for the simple structures.

@WemelordBoksman I was thinking it would be kind of cool to make a display area for all of the trims. You could also have maps of where you found each of them!

@Metricate It's great you're reflecting on things and deciding what is right for you. YouTube doesn't need to be at the center of things if this isn't what you want. Studies and building a career are great to establish and I doubt social media is going anywhere if you want to revisit later.

And for a bonus bonus, let's see what ChatGPT thinks a 'Trails & Tales' Minecraft update could include. I found the response quite interesting.

Bonus thought, if the Minecraft community were to harshly reject the new name, my guess is this would result in re-naming from a community suggestion at the worst case, rather than needing to change any of the core game changes that have been already added. A pretty easy fix.

[1/2] Minecraft 1.20 the Trails & Tales update. If I try and block out what I already know about the update, based solely on the update name my mind is drifting towards adventure and quests, perhaps new structures to find with NPC's like a new type of village, books and maps.
