Now, whether or not supporters believe F&C are still a pair is entirely up to them. I genuinely am never trying to convince anyone and folks can make up their own minds about how they interpret whatever signs we are privy to. But do understand that for most private relationships attempting to navigate the spotlight, Conçois have actually been remarkably open and transparent by the standards we've seen set by other couples, especially when one of them is a breakout star with incredible demands on his schedule in the near future, and the other is a 20 year veteran actor with his own career to advance. It's like Conçois did a speedrun of relationship appearances, meant to cement their commitment to each other in the public eye, with the full knowledge that eventually work requirements & scheduling conflicts would naturally result in a slowing down/absence from such displays. We've all jokingly acknowledged this, but it should be blindingly obvious that you don't turn up to premieres, after parties, and intimate dinners together if you're shy about people speculating that you two are romantically involved. There are fans of actors just now looking forward to premiere dates when Conçois was hitting up red carpets fresh out the gate, and facing intense backlash from within the HR fandom for doing so. Again, believe what you want about the status of their relationship but my point is that current circumstances don't suggest anything unusual is happening and objectively do not support claims of a break-up, even as we are mindful that any couple can choose to go their separate ways at any point for reasons known to them only. It also cannot be overlooked that we're speaking about a romance between gay & bisexual men who have added pressures that heterosexual couples do not confront, with discrimination and stigma ever present in the ways many people will interact with them and their creative output. One reassuring fact is that F&C have cultivated a supportive queer community, visible in their friend groups, professional teams, and at events like Cultured. It is undoubtedly making a big difference to their sense of comfort and security in building a life together if so desired.
