@DoubleDMpod awesome! keep drawing what you can. I've found the more you can relate to some of the geographic area and their economies/politics/motivations, the more players start to care and involve themselves in the story of the area which leads to more player action

@storyforge_ yee thats currently where i am at. i know the factions and regions they represent and try to draw stuff from there to either use or subvert

One thing I sometimes struggle with is creating well-rounded NPCs for my TTRPGs. Anyone got any tips for that? For my current D&D game my players landed at a Political Court and I want all the NPCs to feel like people but I struggle with the sheer mass of them.

Last night's session of #vtm was a blast. Biggest thing i took is that you can flirt your way out of a fight.

Do you ever 100% the games you play?

@corrosivesquid As much as possible I'd say! You don't have to reveal all the details during the game, but having lots of lore helps to round out different regions, factions, characters, etc. I wrote the lore to my homebrew world for like 4-5 years before playing and don't touch on everything

Question for my #ttrpg people: When it comes to writing the lore and background of your game, how many words or pages is too many? What is too little? This is a fairly larger sized game.
