The weather was great, our students had an absolute blast becoming every single colour of the rainbow at our ‘Run4Fun’ Colour Explosion event today! Thank you to everyone who participated in raising money for our new school playground.

Earlier this week, Mackenzie, Ella & Torah competed at the Northern States (ACT, NSW, QLD) Interschools Snowsports Championships. All 3 girls have qualified for the National Championships in Victoria in both Snowboarder Cross & Giant Slalom. Amazing achievement girls, well done!

Kindergarten had a great day on their first excursion to Featherdale Wildelife Park. Students observed a variety of Australian animals and participated in learning experiences to support our current Unit of Inquiry, ‘How The World Works’. #stpetersismyschool

Huge congratulations to Jaxson - Yr 6 who just WON the 100m Freestyle at the 2019 SSA (Nationals) Swimming Championships. What a result! Super proud of this amazing achievement! Jaxson is now the Australian champion in the 100m Free for 12 year old boys. 🇦🇺🥇🏊‍♂️#stpetersismyschool

Competition commenced yesterday at the interschool’s snowsports event. A massive well done to Mackenzie and Torah for finishing third in Snowboard GS and Alexander, Oliver and Archie for finishing 10th in the Alpine. We wish our team good luck for the rest of the competition.

Inquiring Minds! Our Year 4 students have been researching Notable Australians as part of their Unit of Inquiry: Where We Are In Time and Place. They have discovered the personal history of Australia and how significant people and events have changed and shaped it over time.

Last day of Camp! Our Year 6 students enjoyed the Museum of Australian Democracy, and engaged in learning the journey of our Australian Government. #camp #museum

Our Prep classes enjoyed celebrating their learning with their families this week. A wonderful time was had by all as parents joined their children for a play and to see all they have achieved so far this year. #prep #ibschool
