New technical results from the Centurion Project continue to strengthen the exploration case, with direct evidence of a proximal copper-gold mineral system now confirmed from analysis of drillhole CN002DD. Detailed mineralogical and geochemical work has identified detrital sulphide fragments containing copper, silver and gold, alongside zircon age signatures linked to the same geological event responsible for major deposits across the Paterson Orogen. Key highlights: 🟠 Detrital sulphide fragments confirmed with 5.6% Cu, 245 ppm Ag and up to 3.3 ppm Au 🟠 Sulphide angularity suggests a nearby basement source, pointing to a proximal mineral system 🟠 Zircon age dating identifies a ~630 Ma O’Callaghans Supersuite event, the same mineralising episode linked to deposits such as Telfer Mine, Winu Deposit and Havieron Deposit 🟠 Indicator mineral chemistry further supports strong Au–Cu prospectivity 🟠 A low-cost drilling solution has been identified to penetrate cover and test basement targets With the mineral system confirmed and an improved drilling approach identified, the next phase will include passive seismic, ground MT surveying and advanced geophysical analysis to refine targets and locate the source of the sulphides.
