everyone for some reason: Rocky is like Grace's pet/child awww meanwhile Rocky effortlessly understands English without ever needing a translator (only lacking knowledge of Earth-born idioms and concepts), figured out Grace's atmosphere and gravity all by himself without the aid of any computer, figured out there were Astrophage-predators on Adrian, built a 5km long xenonite chain to collect the sample, guided Grace during his piloting practice, built Grace an entire fucking BIODOME on Erid with a tree, a beach and who knows what else
