aku nyatakan, EPS. 2 GIRL FROM NOWHERE: THE RESET BAGUS!!!. elemen dari universenya Kitty Chicha kerasa banget. Tapi, BECKY di sini jadi pembeda yang menonjol, ikonik, dan berhasil menghidupkan episode kali ini dengan nyawanya sendiri. #GirlFromNowhereTheReset

Both Becky Armstrong in real life and Nanno from the series Girl From Nowhere: The Reset share the same view: the “equality” that people often talk about has not truly been achieved. “Nanno has made Beck stronger—by that I mean mentally stronger. When something happens, sometimes I just think, ‘Okay,’ and laugh it off like Nanno, then smile back at the anti-fans.” This time, when the character Nanno returns, she descends from the sky with black feathers drifting around her, a symbolic sign telling everyone that the devil’s daughter has returned. In this version, she appears with a new flavor. She is still the one who delivers satisfying lessons as before, but at the same time she also represents both Faith and Hope for victims of violence and for those who have not received justice in the world. She doesn’t force anyone to choose what to do, but Becky Armstrong, who plays this version of Nanno in the series Girl From Nowhere: The Reset, airing on One31 and the oneD app, wonders: “In such a complicated and chaotic world, will there be anyone willing to change that cycle?” The “cycle” she refers to is the cycle of violence passed down among humans—something society should already be helping to stop. The heart-shaped-faced young woman, who is currently studying Law with Criminology and Psychology at University of Essex, also wants to point out that the “equality” people often talk about still leaves many people unequal in reality. She believes Nanno also carries something of a lawyer within her. The difference, however, is that sometimes people who commit wrongdoing are not punished through the justice system, or the punishment arrives far too late. That is why karmic justice, in the form of “Nanno,” sometimes has to land right in front of them first. We spoke with Becky around International Women's Day, so in this interview she discusses social issues that many women face—and yes, that includes her own experiences as a woman. These range from sexual harassment, where victims are still blamed for not protecting themselves, to slut-shaming, where women are judged simply for not fitting the image society considers “proper.” Even dressing in a way someone dislikes can lead to judgment. She also talks about the concept of consent, which many people still do not fully understand. Even if a woman has a bold look or dresses in a way some people perceive as provocative, it does not mean she is automatically “okay” with anything being done to her body without permission. As a human being, Becky herself has experienced bullying in real life. She has felt alienated, judged, attacked by online backlash, and targeted with waves of hatred on social media—even though she had done nothing wrong. At times it became severe, including threats and invasions of her privacy. Because of this, she hopes that society can one day become better—if people are willing to reset their way of thinking, just like Nanno has returned in order to reset things.
