@BarbraStreisand I’ve watched all the versions of A Star Is Born, and your version, the one with you & Kris Kristofferson is my favorite still.

The first time I saw Kris performing at the Troubadour club in L.A. I knew he was something special. Barefoot and strumming his guitar, he seemed like the perfect choice for a script I was developing, which eventually became A Star Is Born. In the movie, Kris and I sang the song I’d written for the film’s main love theme, “Evergreen." For my latest concert in 2019 at London’s Hyde Park, I asked Kris to join me on-stage to sing our other A Star Is Born duet, “Lost Inside Of You.” He was as charming as ever, and the audience showered him with applause. It was a joy seeing him receive the recognition and love he so richly deserved. My thoughts go to Kris’ wife, Lisa who I know supported him in every way possible.

Hi @AmericanAir! With a paid ticket in my hand, I was bumped off an oversold flight. Oversold by ten. Nine non-rev passengers were let on. Also bumped - an elderly woman behind me, with a ticket, whose husband was already on the plane. It is unacceptable to treat paying customers this way. I didn't get off the standby list for the remainder of the flights home that night. So, I had to buy my own flight back home while standing in the hours-long customer service line. (Otherwise, I would've missed it!) I took two flights, slept in an airport, and went straight to work the next day. Hate to take this to X, but... you just denied my refund requests after zero inquiry or reason. I deserve my money back. @PeteButtigieg - fix the mess that is airline travel.

3 weeks ago Angela and I picked up our son, Sam at the airport after a 9 month deployment to Somalia. 2 weeks ago Angela went on Hospice care. 1 week ago she passed away after a year and a half battle with stomach cancer. Tomorrow is never guaranteed. 😪

Even though I knew about your battle these last few months I still never imagined this day. Anyone who knew you knows what I mean. You were the toughest man I ever met. Thank you brother for being a friend, a hero and an inspiration. There will never be another Toby Keith.

@smartcookiesam I completely agree. Same here in the US. I have older cars but they are like new. We keep them maintained & we have no desire to have a car payment either. Here’s pictures of people in LA with our rain. And we have more coming. Flooded Freeways!

@smartcookiesam I understand. Looking back we wish we did differently. But you did not know. Cars can be replaced. You cannot. Re the car sometimes it’s better to let insurance total it out & use the $$ for down pymt on new one even if u don’t really want a monthly car payment.

@smartcookiesam Don’t feel stupid! It is hard to judge depth of water. Happens here in SoCal too. We’re in for a couple storms Thursday & Sunday-Monday. Each time, somebody gets trapped in water that’s deeper, or moving faster than they realized. Most important is that you are ok.

Heart broken this morning hearing of Jimmy Buffett's passing. What an incredible talent and man. His songs will live on forever. I’ll bet most of y’all don’t know that he wrote the theme song for @BarmageddonUSA for me about 2 years ago. Raising a glass today to the Son of a son of a Sailer.
