because not only would you have merch being outdated, but also you would need to redraw posters, reanimate the lore video, redo renders, and alot of other stuff. its not as simple as replacing the base model. there are other factors. the best yall will get is a new skin.

@veepiIIed I actually like low movement speed toons like soulvester and think more people need to actually learn to play with toons that have under 3 stars of speed (but always bring at least 1 movement item, if you carry around all heals you could get chained to death by twisteds 😭)
