She’s technically right, in many places it’s actually illegal to pump your gas with the car running, with newer cars the risk is low but it’s still present. I am guilty of this especially when it’s hot or cold out, I rather just leave the car running and as soon as the pump starts. I will hop in the car to stay comfortable. I’ve never heard of or seen any fires caused by anyone leaving their car running, so for me the threat doesn’t exists. I’ve done this for as long as I’ve been driving, and for me I will continue to do so until something bad happens to change my mind. I see much worst than leaving your car running. So many times I see people still talking on the phone or smoking cigarettes. I feel if this was going to happen then it would have already happened due to the worst cases I see almost daily. The justification I have is if this was going to happen, why doesn’t my car just catch fire as soon as I pull into a gas station while others are driving.

Ever had to buy a lock… for your own bathroom… because of your own child? This mom was at Lowe’s picking up a $156 Kwikset smart code lock after hitting her absolute limit. She’s asked her son multiple times not to go into that particular bathroom, but he kept using it anyway. She has three bathrooms and two kids at home — one son leaves the bathroom an absolute disaster every single time.Piles of flossers next to the trash can, never cleaning up, ignoring requests to bleach it… even after she gave him his own bathroom. When she walked in the last time and it was still disgusting (after she’d specifically asked him to clean it), that was it. She keeps saying how absurd it feels — but sometimes boundaries have to be this clear. I'm trying to figure out why she didn't take away his video games until either the bathroom was cleaned or he stopped using the bathroom entirely. Real talk, parents… have you ever had to go to extreme measures like this with your kids over cleanliness, disrespect, or just plain teenage chaos?

This guy is using the left hand lane , which is open. There is a mile long backup and everyone is over in the right hand lane. He drives all the way up until he has to merge. Some people are saying what a jerk he is for not getting in line like everyone else, but a great many people are saying that the cars in the right lane merged into one lane too soon and that if they had used the left lane, instead of being a mile backup it would have been a half a mile backup. What’s your take? Do you think he was correct in using the left lane and merging up at the front or should he have merged right and got in line way in the back like everyone else?
