Infinex Connect - A Seamless DeFi Experience

Infinex Connect is here to make using crypto feel easy. No more switching tabs, bridging manually, or dealing with a bunch of popups. You can explore and use dApps directly inside the Infinex app. Here's what it is, how it works, and what to expect next.

Since I started in crypto, one thing that always felt off was the wallet experience and how many steps it takes just to complete a single transaction.
But now we have Infinex, which is working to fix one of the most frustrating parts of using crypto. It's not just about improving the wallet. It's about making the whole crypto experience smoother with Infinex Connect.
I’d call it the UX layer of the crypto world.

Before we dive into what makes @infinex Connect unique, let’s take a quick talk about what others are doing.
WalletConnect:
It lets you connect to dApps from your mobile wallet by simply scanning a QR code. After that, you use the dApp just like you would with any traditional wallet.
It helps bridge the gap between mobile wallets and dApps, but it doesn't fix the frustrating experience of signing multiple times before a transaction goes through.
Privy:
Privy takes things a bit further by offering embedded wallets and user onboarding through email, social logins, and more. It's a solid option for helping web2 users get into web3.
But even with that, the overall experience doesn't get much better. You still have to go through the same steps as with a regular wallet to complete a transaction.
There are many other wallet connectors out there, but I only mentioned these two because they’re the most widely used so far.

Now Let's Dive Into What Makes Infinex Connect Unique
With Infinex Connect, Infinex is introducing its own app store for crypto dApps. These are not just new apps but existing ones that are compatible with the Connect SDK to deliver a seamless experience.
Infinex has also built an SDK for developers to easily integrate Connect into their existing dApps, making adoption smooth and fast.

How is Connect making the UX seamless?
We already know that Infinex simplifies the crypto experience by abstracting gas fees, token approvals, and transaction signing. It uses passkeys for secure access, and Swidge for swapping or bridging across multiple chains without needing to worry about any of the technical steps.
By abstracting all of this, Infinex greatly improves the user experience and is now bringing that same smooth UX to dApp interactions through Connect.

Let’s talk about an example from the Connect demo video:
We open @JupiterExchange from the Infinex app and connect using a passkey. Now, let’s say you want to open a Long or Short on $SOL using Jup Perps, but you don’t have funds on Solana. Your assets are on other L2s.
With Infinex Connect, you can open a long position with just one click "Swidge and Open Long". You simply choose which chain to bridge your tokens from, and everything else happens seamlessly in the background.
You don’t need to manually bridge your funds and then use them to open the position. Connect takes care of it all in one seamless flow.
If you’ve seen the demo video, you probably already know this and have an idea of which dApps might be supported initially. I just wanted to add some extra context here, and I’ll drop the demo link in the comments.

Now that we’ve talked about how Connect is making the UX seamless, let’s look at some potential dApps we could see in the future.
Here are a few great dApp suggestions across different categories, curated by @aibra. You can read more about them in his article, which I’ll link in the comments:
• Yield Trading – Pendle Fi
• Money Markets – Morpho Labs, Euler Finance
• Perpetual Exchanges – HyperliquidX, Synthetix, GMX
A few other dApps I personally think should be included:
• Perpetual Exchanges – @dYdX
• NFT Marketplaces – @opensea, @MagicEden, @blur_io
• Prediction Platforms – @Polymarket
Connect will definitely change how we interact with crypto. As more dApps get added to the Infinex app, it will become much easier to access and navigate all your favorite dApps in one place.

When can we expect Connect to be released?
So far, Kain has mentioned that the launch will happen sometime between June and early July. Recently, other team members teased an announcement date on June 24, which could be related to the Connect release.
Initially, Connect will launch as v1 with a limited set of dApps. Over time, more dApps will be added to the platform.
It will take some time for different dApps to fully adopt Connect, since this is a completely new technology built from scratch by the Infinex team. They're also providing an SDK to help other developers integrate faster.
But once major dApps begin to adopt Connect, Infinex could become gateway to crypto for all users, even grandmas.

One thing that really excites me is the release of Connect. As a product designer, my job is to enhance the UX of a product, and Connect is bringing a major shift in how users experience dApps. That makes me genuinely excited to test it out.

I opened a few trades last night. This morning my friend and I were checking the trades. You can tell by the look on my face whether the trade was good or bad. 😁👑
😎A good exchange will always make you profit, don't forget that.
🩷I want to tell a story about my experience with an exchange I used to use.
Some time ago, I took a token to an exchange and after selling that token, it wouldn't let me withdraw the money and caused me a loss, but @dYdX is not like that. He never does that because he has credibility.
Please do not trust any exchange that will cause you losses. It is better to use super fast exchanges. A good deal should be opened in a second and #dYdX does this.🤝
