I hate when people act like Zutara shippers are experiencing mass psychosis when multiple writers who wrote for the show fought to make it canon and their glaring ship preferences bleed into the script making Zutara such an appealing option

I've been shipping them way before I even came to learn the concept of shipping. and there was no "outside influence" for me? I was simply watching the show in our local tv network, saw them connect in the crystal catacombs scene and it felt like everything fell into place.

I was obsessed with zutara as a child (with zero fandom exposure at that time) and was genuinely PISSED when kataang became canon, especially after finding out that some of the writers were fighting for zutara to be endgame instead
