@KySportsRadio It’s his call for this year. I hope we hang #9 but we can’t have another year where we are not the standard of college basketball. If we’re not I believe Coach Pope himself will step aside for the betterment of Kentucky Basketballs chase for #9. But my Hope is in Coach P.

I don’t understand not hiring a GM. Pope is basically taking people who already worked at UK and giving them new titles….and then adding an outside analytics guy It still is missing the key person, the negotiator/Agent connection, that I think has hurt UK But it’s his call

How do we continue to do that when we seem to be behind so many other programs at the moment, in terms of on the court and off the court success. Things like a GM, TV rights, NIL deals with players and companies. Go Cats! #9

@WildcatsTongue Like we are NOT the greatest tradition in college basketball. We will soon lose the most wins to Kansas and we haven’t had a top hs recruit in 3 cycles. We have multiple years of double digit losses. We are not who out traditions say we are. We are living in the past! 🥶💤🤬🫣

@KyleTuckerCBB Doing less with more! Name one 3 or maybe 4 start kid John C worked with to make a great player and got to the NBA that otherwise wouldn’t have. He says he is about helping kids. Nearly every kid he recruits is about guaranteed to go to the NBA. So how is he helping them!

And just like that, look who has the No. 1 recruiting class like it’s 2009 (or 2010 or 2011 or 2012 or 2013 or 2015 or 2020 or 2023). John Calipari is a one-man Mt. Rushmore of greatest recruiting head coaches.
