A client applied for a job 2 weeks ago and received an automated "We got your application."
They just followed up and found out the job was filled... 2 weeks ago.
Do you think employers should let applicants know a job is filled?

@careersherpa I’ve been trying to get into the habit of commenting first and then liking. It affects the algorithm more positively for the person who posted. 😉

@CareerTips2Go I agree, @CareerTips2Go. Sometimes I think the word 'coach' feels safer than 'therapist' so people reach out, but we ethically know we are not the intervention they need. Plus, honestly @careersherpa, some folks don't want to admit that they don't actually want a solution.

Hannah, sometimes we reach the point where we have to let go, or make a referral to other professionals. This was one of the issues we discussed in a Code of Ethics refresher workshop I attended this week.
