A client applied for a job 2 weeks ago and received an automated "We got your application." They just followed up and found out the job was filled... 2 weeks ago. Do you think employers should let applicants know a job is filled?

On LinkedIn, my habit is to "like" AND then comment on posts. Does anyone else do this? Or do you just "like" or comment.

Luck doesn’t just happen, it’s created. You can do things to increase the odds of serendipity. Meeting more people makes you lucky. Learning more skills makes you lucky. Being willing to fail makes you lucky. Offering to help others more often makes you lucky.

Hannah, sometimes we reach the point where we have to let go, or make a referral to other professionals. This was one of the issues we discussed in a Code of Ethics refresher workshop I attended this week.

@CareerTips2Go Thanks Daisy. I have many concerns about this person... I may have to walk away from the coaching engagement.

Instead of asking: Does work matter? We should ask: What work matters? What problems need to be solved? Who needs help? How can I contribute?
