May Allah indeed expose and punish those enabling this cruelty. No child deserves to roam streets begging for food while abandoned by parents and society, with zero guarantee of real tarbiyyah, Quran, skills, or future. What we call “Almajiri” today is a broken, exploitative shadow of whatever it was centuries ago. It’s producing generations of vulnerable kids with no education, no trade, no hygiene, no protection perfect raw material for cheap labour, crime, and political thugs. This system is not sustainable in the 21st century. It needs to be replaced with proper Islamic education + modern skills under parental responsibility and structured madrasas/schools. No more street begging disguised as seeking knowledge. The North cannot develop while thousands of its children are turned into beggars and social liabilities. #EliminateAlmajiriSystem#NoToAlmajiriSystem#ReformNorthernEducation May Allah guide us to protect our children
Hagos Abdallah@AbdallahHagos

May Allah punish anyone that supports this cruelty to children. No parents close by, No one cares about what he eats, wears, hygiene, health. This system is the first thing that needs to change in the North. It is not what it used to be. No education, no business, no skill, no islamic education, no quran, no hadith, NOTHING!! These children are what some people make use of for cheap labour. This boy, his parents failed him, siblings failed him, the society failed him, his teachers failed him, government failed, Northern Elites failed him. Allah ya isa mishi. #EliminateAlmijiriSystem #NoToAlmajiriSystem

Hausa, as a language, unites the whole of Northern Nigeria and extends into parts of the neighboring Niger, Chad, and Cameroon. Regardless of your ethnic background, Hausa remains the common lingua franca for anyone living in the North.
FAREEDA KIRI🌹🌹🌹🌹@Faridatu001

Remove sentiment aside and I assure you that Hausa is one of the best speaking language in Nigeria 🇳🇬😏. One is Hausa, one is Igbo, and one is idoma ... this is so sweet hearing them speaking Hausa language 💗🤣...

Mali is burning.🔥🔥 Armed groups have launched simultaneous attacks across the country, including Bamako (the capital), Kati, Gao, Mopti, Sevare, and Kidal. Tuareg separatists are demanding autonomy and political restructuring of Mali, including either autonomy or independence for northern Mali (the Azawad concept). JNIM (an al-Qaeda-linked jihadist group) is calling for the abolition of Western-influenced governance structures and the introduction of a Sharia-based system.

🇳🇬 #ICYMI: An angry mob in Langtang North LGA of Plateau State has set three suspected killers ablaze after they were accused of murdering a traditional ruler. The suspects were linked to the killing of Ponzhi Kwallak, monarch of Kwallak community, who was reportedly shot dead in his residence on April 23 before his belongings, including a motorcycle, were taken. They were apprehended the following day while attempting to sell the stolen motorcycle. Although some individuals tried to hand them over to security forces, a larger mob intercepted them near the local government secretariat and carried out the lynching.

🇳🇬 JUST IN: Plateau State Specialist Hospital Raises Alarm Over Planned Kidnap of Health Workers The Plateau State Specialist Hospital has issued an urgent internal memo warning that terrorists and bandits are planning to abduct doctors, nurses, and other health workers. The circular, dated Monday, 13 April 2026, was signed by Jina Leah Esq., Director of Administration, on behalf of the Chief Medical Director, and sent to all departments and staff. According to the memo, intelligence reports indicate that these groups intend to kidnap medical personnel, particularly in Plateau State, and force them to treat injured fighters, especially those with gunshot wounds from clashes with security forces. Hospital management has advised staff to remain vigilant, take personal security seriously, and report any suspicious movement to the authorities. The memo describes the development as a tactical move by the groups to sustain their operations. Following the leak of the document, the hospital has confirmed it is genuine but dismissed claims of panic within the facility, urging calm while security agencies monitor the situation.

One striking trait of Hausa people is our strong attachment to our language. The reason you will see even when two Hausa English professors meet, they naturally speak Hausa. This pride in using our language, wherever we find ourselves, is a key reason Hausa remains so dominant and widely spoken. Hausawa don’t shy away from using our language.

Before you insult the Nigerian military, let me educate you with this video of FLA rebels inside the Kidal Governor’s office today, following the withdrawal of Governor El Hadj Ag Gamou and the collapse of the Malian military in Kidal. Our military would never sit back and allow such a thing to happen in Nigeria. If they tried it here, that would be their end within seconds.

This is a laudable innovation, and I congratulate you for bringing it to reality. However, beyond this commendation, a few steps are necessary to ensure the facility does not become a shadow of itself in the coming years. First, this facility and others like it should be placed under a trust led by a respected and highly experienced medical doctor who is not influenced by political affiliation. This will ensure the facility outlives any governor or political party and becomes a lasting asset to Ogun State. Second, the trust should have a dedicated budget under the health commissioner, covering maintenance and overall management of the facility and others like it. We do not want a situation where basic amenities deteriorate within a short period. Lastly, and most importantly, primary health centres must be revived and operate at full capacity. While this should remain under the local government, the trust chairman can provide oversight. If primary healthcare is ineffective, people will bypass it and flood specialist hospitals with cases that should be handled at the ward level. This will overwhelm the specialist centre and prevent it from fulfilling its intended purpose effectively. I offer this advice in good faith as a concerned citizen of Ogun State. If these steps are taken before the end of your tenure, you will be remembered as the leader who transformed the state’s health sector. Thank you for your attention.

Omo, things really got intense in Benin last night. EFCC officials reportedly carried out a raid, but it didn’t go as expected. They were met with serious resistance as some suspected cult boys allegedly attacked them in the process. Situation just escalated quickly, and the officers ran for their dear lifes. 😳🤔
