Not our day today. Littlebirdie gets back something for us. 4.4u returned 7.6u loss 5.4u profit from the super weekend. Tomorrow looks some strong chances. We hit them back

Neverenoughlego I was always going to follow after running into a good one first up. Was pleased to see it run the quinella and think they can press the button and go forward today. Think it has the first starters covered with any luck. Mighty is a spec at the price. It’s trialled up very nicely with the only concern being where it gets to in the run and only having one softer trial. Probably the one I’m most excited about is Derivative. Absolutely loved its trial on a heavy track, where I have bonused that a lot being a Capitalist. Travelled up to Sydney and then beat a solid field on a good track. Looking forward to seeing what it can do up on speed. I have taken it for the Magic Millions at $51. Countyourblessings is a very underrated horse who I’ve been on the last few preparations. Love the way it’s trialled up as usual and think that Eagle Farm is the perfect track for it if they can run on. Will need a hot speed and every bit of the straight. The question mark is if it can measure up against this field. Wolflands has been kept fresh, which is when he races best. Mail is he’s been bucking around all week and happy to be with him second up after a solid first up run. Looks a nice race for it. Alpinova is a scary bet but probably my best of the day. Barrier 13 is a worry but it gets back anyway. It has trialed up and matched Group horses in its most recent trial. This is a BM52. You do the maths. Usain Boss is a pretty disrespectful price. Last start it was a complete forgive where it missed the start and raced 4 and 5 wide majority of the race. Jockey said that it didn’t appreciate the wet track also. Plenty of excuses for a horse that was in the market in a very hot race. Littlebirdie probably needed the run first up on reflection after it was scratched from various races for about 2 weeks. Heavy track first up was a tough ask. The 4th placed horse in that race has since come out and won easily. Expect Littlebirdie to be leading and winning. Massive day. Maybe bet them as we go, if we’re losing, lower your stakes, if we’re winning, look out.
