@SaintsDanSFC Because they deserve to go up on merit for finishing second in the league, regardless of the stadium, it’s about the team! We already have Gateshead in the NL so why not Hornchurch, I hope it is Hornchurch that go up

@MarkETFC01 @richardpotty That’s my point! What does it matter about the stadium! Hornchurch finished 2nd in the league, it would be more fitting for the to win and go up than anyone else in the league regardless of the stadium, promotion is about clubs that deserve it not who has the best ground!

So this could be potentially welcoming NL football next season, Southend could be taking well over 1k as this would be their closest fixture. This is the Hornchurch Stadium, home of Hornchurch FC who play Torquay in the NLS play off final. For so many reasons Torquay must do it.

@RochdaleFan @thatseriphosi Maybe the biggest game, but it was part of a season long 46 games schedule! The 46 games don’t include goal line technology, was you asking for it before the game? No! Did you ask the Lino himself if he was certain? No you didn’t He gave the goal and that’s it.

@stuart1679 @thatseriphosi This was just not another normal game though. It was the biggest game in the National League history. With what was on the line, it shouldn’t come down to a controversial decision. If the lino isn’t 100% certain, which I don’t think he can be, he shouldn’t be flagging.

@stuart1679 @thatseriphosi Clear we’re not gonna agree on whether he had a clear view or not. But I stick to my point from over 20 yards away there is no way he can be 100% sure. This is where in a game of this stature goal line technology would’ve been helpful.

@RochdaleFan @thatseriphosi He had a clear view of the player behind the line and the ball, nothing blocking the view! How has he guessed? And as for being 20 yards away Lino’s for years and years been giving goals over the line from over 20 yards away! So if he didn’t give it how would York feel?

@stuart1679 @thatseriphosi Stood around 20 yards away, lots of bodies on the goal line not a chance he could have been 100% certain it was fully over the line and if you are not 100% certain you don’t make a decision. In a game of this stature it’s simply not acceptable that imo the lino has just guessed.

@RochdaleFan @thatseriphosi There were no bodies blocking his view of the ball and the player behind the line. He had the best view in the ground and an unblocked view, I’ve watched the replay back and in fact it’s a piece of fantastic officiating, Lino’s positioning was spot on

@RochdaleFan @thatseriphosi Neutral fan, the Lino has a great view, a better view than any of the tv angles, don’t understand your argument, if they never gave it would have been unfair on York. Officials gave the decision based on what they saw not the situation.
