Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar is desperately trying to repair the severe damage done to Israel's international image by claiming that National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir is not the face of Israel, following the release of a video showing Ben-Gvir abusing detained flotilla activists. "You knowingly caused harm to our State in this disgraceful display - and not for the first time. You have undone tremendous, professional, and successful efforts made by so many people - from IDF soldiers to Foreign Ministry staff and many others. No, you are not the face of Israel."

How could this be?

In a heartbreaking and tragic scene, my friend's father was trying to help one of the injured when Israel bombed the area, killing him and everyone else there. He died trying to save others.

Just watched @AaronBastani interviewing @EagletonOliver about Keir Starmer. Fascinating & insightful. Here Oliver talks about how Starmer sabotaged negotiations over a soft brexit deal "so that Labour would have no choice but to swerve towards a peoples vote" (1/6). #Downstream

The Observer today ‘both-sided’ the proscription of Palestine Action. It published op-eds by both Yvette Cooper, the Home Secretary, & the founder of PA. That’s not a position the historically liberal Observer would likely have historically taken but it’s certainly a defensible one. 2/

Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir: "We have a plan for settlement in Lebanon, and we also have plans to encourage the emigration [of Palestinians] from Gaza and the West Bank." Not "emigration," but ethnic cleansing plans.
