If you’re running in with both hands on the ball to hide the shiney side then run in quicker. This will make up for the fact that you’ll be losing a little bit of momentum because your arms won’t be working quite as efficiently as when you’re running in without hiding the ball. #fastbowling #swingbowling #wasimakram #reverseswing #IPL2024

Let me set the scene. I own two companies that make me $8.7 million a year - all while I travel the world and live a life I love living. But 10 years ago, I was chained to my business, stressed, and near-suicidal. How did I turn things around?

What the point in having a perfect off season? One that is comfortable. With no stress when you’re training. The perfect off season will include as many of the physical, mental and skill demands as possible that you will encounter in matches. Little pockets of play where you practice to get better in those uncomfortable moments where matches are won, or lost. How is your off season going? #clubcricket #accountability #improving #skilldevelopment

If you’re a quick bowler here is an example of what a good back foot contact looks like. Generally work towards spending less time on back foot and more time on foot. Get off the back foot quicker by keeping on the front half of your foot which will keep you moving forwards and help push into front foot contact. Keep in mind that every bowler is different although this general rule works well. #pacebowling #bowlingcoach #bowlingtips #fastbowling

@JaydenLevitt I’m similar. Being more curious about peoples opinions instead of allowing them to affect how I felt. Understanding that wealth isn’t necessarily linked with the most money. 😁

What's one thing you wished you had done sooner? I'll start. For me, it's to stop caring about people's opinions. It's a handbrake that stops you from trying new things. I used to think, what if this fails...I'm gonna look silly. So I'd never start. Starting a business, creating a website, writing a newsletter, or doing a podcast: whatever it is it requires a little hint of not GAF. I cared about people's opinions because I was subconsciously bestowing judgment on others. It made me vulnerable to other people's judgement and opinions when I wanted to try new things. It's hard to say, but it's true. When I first started going significantly viral on Medium, one blog got 470K views, which is about the same viewership as CNN. People from all over the world would abuse me online, lol. I learned to love it, and I think it's because I'm less judgemental. Don't get me wrong, I have the odd relapse. That's mine, what's yours?

A simple drill for spinners practicing to achieve more top spin. Top spin will drag the ball down into the surface. Replace the stumps with any obstacle which challenges the bowler to get it over the obstacle and then into length with spin. Doesn’t count if it’s a ‘lob up.’ #spinbowling #topspin #bowlingtips #cricketdrill

Here is why bowling a wobble seam ball can be so challenging for batters. Show them you can swing the ball. Change your grip on the ball slightly. With no change of action so the batter doesn’t pick up anything that’s different (apart from a grip change) Look to bowl the same length. Challenge both edges. #wobbleseam #seambowling #bowlingcoach #bowlingtips
