@KyleTuckerCBB CBB in general is a big OOF under the current rules, or lack thereof. The pro model makes free agency the ultimate goal that every player strives to achieve. College basically grants free agency every year. I honestly don’t know why every player doesn’t enter the portal.

Fair. I know the word is he asked for a bag. I get not giving it to him. Kentucky doesn’t need to do the overpaying thing again. But it’s still an oof to lose a shooter when that’s literally priority one for the roster — or 1A/1B with point guard.

@EvanDennison1 Great academics with lots of diverse learning options. Great location. Best facilities around. High level coaching. Top 5 program in the State. Great exposure with competitive schedule. Lots of D1 exposure with the current roster.

Truly don’t get this one. You beat them once for a district title. Expected to return Tyce Jarvis and Austin Sears and jump ship? I don’t know the full story, but the competitor in me would want to beat GRC, not join them. Just my two cents…

Since 2000, the KHSAA Boys state tournament has only been won 5 times by private schools. Out of the 21 public school champions how many can say they won it without any transfers. The way it is now in Ky HS basketball there isn’t much difference between private and public.

My Sweet 16 seeding proposal, with boys bracket below. Use 4 rankings - media poll, RPI, Massey and MaxPreps. Throw out best and worst ranking for each team, then take composite and seed. Probably way too complicated, but just an idea.

You’re acting as though he’s 30-100 type player or great defender. He’s neither, and his best season by far, the one at San Diego that persuaded the Braves to pay him, is now seriously tainted by steroid suspicion. He’s on the downside of modest career and not worth the baggage.
