@AnarQuick in terms of learning resources, bitlytic on yt has some REALLY good stuff on godot, its how i learned the basics of a lot of fundamental concepts of the engine like resources and components.

@AnarQuick main thing that i would be wary of here is the way youre using onready variables. using export vars for most situations (especially when youre getting reference to parent nodes!) is generally a lot less hassle if you need to restructure your scene trees later on. hope this helps!

Here is the script that manages the Main display label. This label outputs the most important number in the game: the distance the spaceship has flown (bcs its an incremental game increasing this number is your primary goal)
