I attempted to watch this big-budget Bollywood film inspired by a Tom Cruise movie but couldn't stand more than 10 minutes. Why does most quality content in Bollywood come from lesser-known actors, while big stars continue to produce predictably tired material? In Hollywood, Bradley Cooper spent six years learning to play the piano so he could accurately portray Leonard Bernstein in the beautifully crafted, Maestro. Why aren't we seeing something similar in Bollywood? I don’t think talent is a problem. It seems the commercial incentives are different.
