But not every 18yr is in school I graduated at 18, I was a full fledged adult at 18 and during that time I dated a girl OLDER than me. After that I dated an 18yo at 24, and no one bat an eye its wasn't an issue we were all in the same circle of friends. It wasn't even like I was "looking" to date younger. Me and her just clicked. Yall immediately go to words like pedo this pedo that but people have shrunk the gap soooo much that no one can date anyone without accusations, yall are miserable. The reality is statistically relationships with age gaps between 5-10 years are the most likely to last.

It sounds good in theory but in practice on a social level it doesn't quite work like that. Especially in certain environments. Example: Construction, being a tough son of a bitch in a tough som of a bitch field of work are a point of pride for these type of men. To try and get these men to open up about struggles is not only undermining thier pride it's an outright insult to thier manhood. Is it healthy? No but it's how they're wired. Not to mention on a psychological level admitting insecurities to other men, unearned, is subconsciously registered as submission.

@studjoma @justalexoki I completely agree but I think we as men should challenge each other to acknowledge that admitting one's insecurities is not a sign of "weakness". If anything it's bravery to admit to the things we feel insecure and embarrassed about when society shames people for it all the time
