❓A question I’ve been receiving today is whether studyinsaudi.sa/en is legitimate and trustworthy, or if it could be fake. There is a lot of rumours around it. ✔️If you have any doubts, you can simply wait a few days or even a week. However, I’m confident that the current website is not fake. Firstly, because when users previously accessed the official portal studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa, it actually redirected them to this same website (studyinsaudi.sa/en). That kind of redirection could only have been done by the official administrators of the Study in Saudi portal. Secondly, there are other reasons that make me surely believe that this is not a scam. But if you still have even the slightest concern, you can wait a few days or a week, and everything will become clear.

⚠️Some universities on the portal currently do not display or offer any available programs. In other words, the university may appear on the portal, but you cannot apply to it because there are no programs listed yet. As you can see, it is mentioned that "programs are being added and updated continiously", so it is best to wait.

⚠️At the moment, no one is able to submit an application. Moreover, many users are currently experiencing an issue where the verification code is not being delivered. As I mentioned earlier, during the first couple of days the portal is likely to experience disruptions due to heavy traffic, so I wouldn’t recommend applying just yet. So far, not a single person has been able to successfully submit an application. ❗️P.S. I also think it’s not really appropriate to compare the Islamic University of Madinah with Western universities. Here, the university offers completely free Islamic education, along with the opportunity to live in Madinah, perform Umrah, and study the Qur’an and Hadith - all free of charge. Unfortunately, some people, even when facing minor difficulties with the university (or in this case with the portal), tend to overlook all these blessings and focus only on the negatives.

💡By the way, here’s an interesting fact: many of those who were accepted into Saudi universities applied multiple times before getting in. For example, this morning I met a brother from Norway at our Islamic University who is currently studying here. I asked him how many times he had applied and he said that he applied three times and was only accepted on his third attempt. The lesson we can take from this is simple: don’t give up, keep applying again and again. ❗️Also I always advise applicants to include additional supporting documents. For example: a Quran memorization certificate (even if it’s not the full Quran), an Arabic language certificate, or certificates from Islamic courses. All of these can have a real impact on acceptance. I once was with an admissions officer, and he told me: “Look Madi, this applicant says he has memorized 10 juz of the Quran. I will now go through his documents if I find a certificate confirming this, I will accept him. If I don’t find it, I will reject him.” He then checked the application right in front of me, didn’t find any certificate confirming the 10 juz and rejected him. So these certificates are very important ⭐️Here is one more example: t.me/notjustmadinah…

✉️✉️✉️ I’ve been receiving a large number of messages on WhatsApp now regarding the application process, required documents and related questions. 💬In this post, I will briefly go over some of the changes. First, the application options have expanded this year. You are no longer limited to just three universities, you can now apply to up to 25 programs across different universities of your choice. Second, you can now clearly see the type of study: whether it is paid, free, or partially funded. For example, at the Islamic University of Madinah, all programs are fully free, it is not possible for international students to study there on a paid basis. The same applies to the Islamic University of Imam. On the other hand, at Taibah University, you can find both paid and free programs. As for Umm Al-Qura University, its programs are currently not visible or available yet. Third, the list of required documents has changed. The main required documents now are: - Passport - a high school certificate - a police clearance certificate Medical reports, recommendation letters, a CV, and other documents are considered optional (supporting documents). However, as always, I strongly recommend submitting as many documents as possible - including optional ones - to improve your chances of acceptance. However, those who apply to the Islamic University of Madinah through the Study in Saudi portal will later receive an email (like this: t.me/notjustmadinah…) asking them to submit a second application via the Minhatee portal. This portal has its own set of requirements (here they are: t.me/notjustmadinah…) and asks for additional details, such as how much of the Qur’an you have memorized and your level of Arabic proficiency etc.

📣📣📣 Important note when applying (so far, the portal status is still showing “Soon,” and no official announcement has been made yet). When filling out the application on the portal, write ONLY your name exactly as it appears in your passport. ❗️ Do NOT include your father’s or grandfather’s name. In the past, when the portal first launched (around 3 years ago), it did ask for the father’s name and similar details. This is because the portal was designed for both Saudis and non-Saudis. 👉 Saudis include their father’s and grandfather’s names 👉 Non-Saudis should NOT do this ❗️If you add your father’s name or anything extra, it can cause problems with your visa. ❓Why? Because: - Your passport has only your name (and surname) - But the system will show a different name (with extra parts) There have already been many cases where people faced visa issues because of this. So remember: Write your name exactly as in your passport, no additions

📣📣📣Important update for applicants to Saudi Arabia At King Saud University, several faculties are being closed starting from this year. Among them: Faculty of Arabic Language (including the Department of Islamic Studies) Faculty of Food Sciences and Agriculture Faculty of History, Geography, and Arts and a number of other programs. ❗️ What does this mean for applicants? If you are planning to: - study Arabic - or pursue Islamic studies ‼️ you should not apply to King Saud University starting from this year. 📌 Important clarification This does NOT mean that scholarships or opportunities for Islamic studies in Saudi Arabia are being reduced. On the contrary, the reason is different: The university has decided to focus on strengthening other fields. As a result, they have removed: language related programs. many humanities disciplines, agricultural specializations 📌 Official explanation from the university In their explanatory statement, the university said: “King Saud University would like to clarify that it is working on updating admission pathways as part of the continuous development of the academic system, expanding in specializations that align with labor market needs and focusing on various fields of knowledge required by future local and global trends. 📌 What to expect next Most likely, there will be a shift in focus: ⭐️ Islamic studies will be further strengthened in specialized universities, such as: Islamic University of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud (Riyadh) Islamic University of Madinah ✔️Conclusion IF YOUR GOAL IS ARABIC LANGUAGE OR ISLAMIC STUDIES: YOU SHOULD NOT APPLY TO KING SAUD UNIVERSITY

📣📣📣April 15 is here, and the Study in Saudi portal indicates that applications will run from April 15 to May 15! 💡It’s currently 1 AM in Madinah, but the system isn’t open yet, you can’t submit an application or even register at the moment. I just tried because I wanted to record my usual yearly step by step guide, but it’s not available yet. They will likely open it later today inshaAllah.

❓❓❓Some Questions I have been asked recently. ❓ Question 1: My application on the “Study in Saudi” portal was rejected, but on the Minhatee portal (Madinah University portal) my status is still “under review”. Do I need to apply again? ✔️ Answer: Yes, you need to reapply. Even if you get accepted through Minhatee, the university will not be able to issue your visa without an active application on the “Study in Saudi” portal. ❓ Question 2: You mentioned in your FAQ that final acceptance can take several years. Is that still the case? ✔️ Answer: That used to be true before, but now the situation has changed. Recently, the process has become much faster and applications are reviewed much quicker. A few days ago, I visited the Arabic Language Institute, where many of the students are new. To my surprise, a lot of people stopped me and thanked me for the information I share on my channel, which was really nice and motivating. I asked almost every single new student that stopped me: when did you apply, and when did you get accepted? Almost all of them said the same thing: applied in May 2025 —> got accepted within a few months —> came to study or applied in May 2025 —> started with one semester online —> then came in person ❓Question 3: Do I need to create a new account? ✔️ Answer: No. You can use your existing account. Note: Right now, the website is being updated, and login is temporarily unavailable. Most likely, everything will be restored when applications open. ❓Question 4: Why don’t you reply to my messages? ✔️ Answer: I’m really genuinely sorry about that, the problem is that I receive a huge number of messages and simply can’t reply to everyone. That’s exactly why I created the FAQ file. I even got a complaint that my replies sometimes feel cold, short or dry and that I seem different compared to what I am in my videos. But it’s not about attitude, it’s just a lack of time. I try to help and give direct, clear answers which might come across that way. Right now, we’re focusing more on translation services and prioritizing our clients when it comes to replies. Some people also suggested hiring others to answer messages, but since I’m answering questions for free, I don’t have the financial ability to hire a team for that. I truly hope that the information I’ve already shared on my channel and in the FAQ file is enough to help you submit your application successfully.

🚨Over the past three days, I have received messages from more than 250 people asking about admission to Saudi universities. Unfortunately, I do not have enough time to reply to everyone, and because of this, some people may feel ignored. ✏️For this reason, I created a FAQ document so that people can find answers to their questions more easily: drive.google.com/drive/folders/… ⭐️So please don’t be upset if I was unable to respond to you. At the moment, we are only accepting orders for document translation.

🔔🔔🔔If your goal is to understand Qur’an and Islamic knowledge through Arabic - this institute is built exactly for that! 🚩Arabic Language Institute “Ahlul Athar” in Madinah 📍 Location: maps.app.goo.gl/D87FifQfWdVbvP… Note: very easy to reach the Masjid Nabawi, taxi fee is around 5 SAR. 🎬Full video about the institute: youtu.be/umjJeu3oJkE ⚙️ I’ve prepared a detailed document with all the key information about this institute - it answers almost every question you might have: drive.google.com/drive/folders/… 💵 Tuition fees: • 350 SAR per level (if conditions are met) • 450 SAR if not (each level is about 1 month) 🔥 Why this institute is worth it: • 15 levels (from beginner to advanced) • Program includes real-life Arabic + Islamic benefits • Small classes (~15 students) • Daily classes (except Friday & Saturday) • Official certificate after completion • Both offline and online options 🏠 Accommodation: • The institute helps students find affordable housing nearby • Rent is paid separately by the student 🗓Who can join: • Men - in-person & online • Kids - accepted if they can study seriously • Women - currently online, BUT: From May 2026, women are expected to have in-person classes as well (after Asr until Maghrib). 🖥 Registration: • Visit the institute in person • Or contact via WhatsApp: +966 50 884 6407 💡 My opinion: The biggest advantage is that this program is not just for speaking Arabic. It actually helps you understand Islamic texts, since the materials include hadith, reminders and sayings of scholars!

✏️✏️✏️After I was not accepted into the master’s program, one of the teachers I studied with wrote me this kind and nice message. جزاه الله خيرا Here is an English translation: "May Allah raise your rank, my dear, accept your supplications, and bless you. You truly helped me in this, and your groups were among the best groups I have ever taught. Alhamdulillah, may Allah bring benefit through Shaykh Ibrahim, grant him success, and make him a source of blessing for his country and his family. Perhaps there is good in this matter, my dear. I would say that the program has lost an outstanding student by not accepting you. However, apply to other faculties and different programs - I know your level and the abilities you possess. If you have the opportunity, prepare early for the exam so that Allah may facilitate your acceptance. I also prefer that distinguished students study at more than one university during their academic journey, as this broadens their knowledge, deepens their understanding, and expands their perspective. Perhaps Allah has prepared this for you. May Allah grant you success in all الخير, whether you continue your studies or not. As-Sumait (may Allah have mercy on him) surpassed many degree holders through his service to Islam and the Muslims, and there are many others like him. And this is what truly matters: serving Islam and the Muslims." P.S. As-Sumait (Abdul Rahman Al-Sumait) that this ustazh mentioned was a Kuwaiti doctor who spent decades in Africa doing da’wah and humanitarian work, helping millions and supporting orphans. It is reported that around 10 million people accepted Islam through his efforts والله أعلم.

🎤🎤🎤The time has come to bid farewell! ❄️As it often happens after graduation, people leave and return to different parts of the world. The same happened in our case. My friend Ibrahim from East Africa, from Tanzania, returned home after finishing his studies at the Islamic University of Madinah. 🔔Before he left, I met Ibrahim and we shared our last meal together. At that moment I recorded a short video in which I gave a few reminders - first to myself, and then to Ibrahim. 🔼We studied together for 4 years and during the last year we were able to carry out several projects. One of them was supporting graduates of the Islamic University so they can dedicate themselves to teaching and da’wah. During Ramadan we also helped with projects feeding orphans and distributing food baskets to more than 150 widows and needy families. 🏠Now Ibrahim has returned home. Perhaps we will not see each other for a long time. But despite the distance, we will stay in contact and inshaAllah, continue working together on new good projects. 💡P.S. As I mentioned, Ibrahim takes care of orphans and helps teach them. In the nearest future inshaAllah, I will share another amazing story about this. It would also be beneficial if we could build a small Islamic center with a masjid for orphans, where Ibrahim and his students can teach these kids Quran and Islam and raise them to become future teachers and callers to Islam!

📌Yesterday I met a new student. Like many others, he told me that he applied in May 2025 and was accepted to the Islamic University of Madinah after about 3 months. ⭐️Like many other students, he first started studying online and then came to Madinah for the second semester. 📈Because of the changes in the application portal, applications are now reviewed faster. I hope the portal will open again in May. We will probably hear more news after Ramadan inshaAllah

📌📌📌The Arabic language institute Ahl Al-Athar moved to a new location some time ago. After Eid, I plan to gather updated information about it. There is also a big possibility that they will open classes for women as well. This is a unique opportunity for those who want to study Arabic. 📌In addition, the second institute, Mutun Al-I'jaz will most likely also move to a new location. 💎So after Eid, expect two updated videos about studying Arabic in Madinah. ⭐️️P.S. Out of the four or five Arabic language institutes in Madinah, I would especially recommend these two. In my opinion, they are the best institutes, with a correct manhaj and a strong desire to ensure that students actually benefit from their studies. The opening of these institutes is a great and rare opportunity to study Arabic in Madinah, so be sure to take advantage of it. ⭐️P.P.S. I also have an idea that I might prepare ready made solutions for people who want to come and study Arabic in these institutes (these solutions will include information about accommodation, as well as arrangements for Quran lessons and Arabic language classes). They will be provided for free, on the condition that the person truly wants to benefit from the studies and is serious about learning.
