Today we were at @warwickmed for the inaugural lecture of our Chief Investigator - Professor Domenico Giacco. It was great to hear about how SCENE fits into his career so far as well as how his research has been shaped by both @QMULSocialPsych and @warwickMHWB

Today @ENMESHmental Conference Phil & Agnes from the @TACK_Study & @study_scene, respectively, were joined by colleagues from City University to host a symposium discussing resource orientation in mental health care. Great session with some great questions from the audience

The SCENE programme was featured as part of @TessNRoberts talk at the @QMUL_WIPH annual showcase today, where she spoke about the work of the @QMULSocialPsych and how it relates to resilience

After 2.5 years working on SCENE we say goodbye to @NataliaChemas who has been instrumental to the team. It’s been incredible to watch her develop as a researcher and look forward to following the rest of journey as she embarks on her NIHR doctoral fellowship.

This week's Unit seminar was led by Natalia from @study_scene who gave an update on the large RCT they are currently running. After recruiting 578 P's they have now completed all 12-month follow ups with a high follow up rate. Final results will be available end of the year

We have a new publication in World Social Psychiatry resulting from our symposium at #RcpsychWASP23 looking at PPI across three different research programmes (SCENE, TACK and OPAL)

Before the weekend, we said goodbye to Jodie Smith who has been working on the SCENE study with @QMULSocialPsych for almost two years. Whilst we are sad to see her go, she is leaving research to pursue an exciting new career in software engineering. Best of luck Jodie 💫

Yesterday, Kamran Shafiq and @AgnesJChevalier were representing SCENE at #RcpsychWASP23 talking about PPI contributions throughout the Programme so far. Hopefully next time, we’ll be presenting the results!

Today at #RCPsychWASP23 some researchers from the Unit & experts by experience presented a symposium on developing & testing interventions through patient & carer involvement. Great to hear both sides of PPI in mental health research
